I really like Lush bath bombs. They average about $8 each. So I’ve tried ways to get a similar experience for less money. Avoid the mistakes below and I’m sure you will love Lush Bath Bombs too.
Method 1: Buy another brand of bath bomb

I ordered some other bath bombs. They looked ok. Some even had glitter. I started a bath and got in to test the first one. The first sign was that instead of floating like the lush bath bombs, it sunk to the bottom of the tub. Then I noticed that the glitter was sticking to the edges of the tub, and the scent just didn’t appeal to me. Instead of relishing my bath, I drained the water and scrubbed the tub. I decided not to try any more of the non- Lush bath bombs.
Method 2: Split a Bath Bomb in Half

It is possible to split a lush bath bomb in half. The epic downside is that you lose out on the drama of the bath bomb. For instance, Dragons Egg. The middle has a vibrant orange that should take a while before you ever see it. Unfortunately, if you’ve split the bomb in half the orange fizzles faster than the white, and inverts the whole experience.
Method 3: Forget to read the directions
If you wait between buying and using a bath bomb, make sure you check back on what you bought before you start. I didn’t. Instead I decided I was going to use the fantastic smelling pyramid shaped bath bomb as a treat, and launched right into running my bath water. I always add bath bombs after the tub is full so I can watch the fireworks-esque show with out the interference of running water. My first sign that something was wrong, was after the tub was full when I dropped the “bath bomb” in and it sank. Uh oh. It didn’t fizzle. It was not a bath bomb. Spoiler alert. Bubble bars work better under running water. The good news is the bath still smelled great.
